every person at home is stressed out , my husband because of the hectic routine , he travels atleast 15 days a month , trying to catch up all odds while in town , my son managing his school routine and IIT classes , I have to balance the time at home , working for hubby's office , my social work and tuitions , all of us have sparingly an hour to catch up , but I tell you we have to have our own space wherever we are, otherwise we feel let down , so to overcome this I walk atleast for an hour all alone and I consider this my well won space and it really relaxes me , my hubby goes for shuttle for 45 mins in the morning when he is in town , my son plays on computer and keep poking with my daughter which is again a respite for him , when you feel that you are overloaded try to create a space for you or remain silent for sometime , it really helps , all of us retire by 11.30pm and wake up by 5.30am , it is hard during week days , week ends are fine , but again it is all how we look at it , we have to slog now to better up in future , inculcate the same feeling in children when they grumble , initially all of us were barking at each other while we were stressed , now we have found this strategy to ease us up , things are getting better
when you start thinking that you are the most hardworking person in the world , it starts getting on to you negatively , try to think that it is for your family your betterment and for a harmonious home you slog , and it is always better to slog than being idle
we are able to have more or less non controversial discussions now that we have created our own space , try and work it out
That is a good strategy indeed. I have always gone into silence when i am stressed and as you said the barking never ceases, will try this out now :)
