I have always heard from my friends and relatives that it is becoming too tough dealing with old people at home , they always keep repeating what they say , they worry too much about unwanted and trivial things and they sometimes behave like children hell bent on doing what they want to
behave quite selfish at times, keep self sympathising , never empathise with others , these are the general complaints , dealing with a teen ager and dealing with a person in 60s have become so much a marathon effort , children of teens think that they are the perfectionists and everyone else is behaving clownish while the older ones think that they have handled their lives better than us
all these have become a pattern behaviour at home and it is sometimes quite tough to deal with these kind of behavioural problems because the more vocal you become on your thoughts the more is the friction that prevails , let me tell you one thing , everyone has to live his or her life , and each one needs his /her own space , whenever there is a problem which upsets you try and convince yourself that you are not in the wrong and you are not the one to be penalised instead think that the other one is really suffering from serious problem that he / she has to come off it and it is that it requires some time for them to do it and stay away from the problem as far as possible . I share this thought of mine with all my friends who come up to me with a similar problem back answering and retaliating will only spoil the harmony of home , it is tough to exercise but you feel fresh and neutral when you have not spilt your words , I read a lot of parables and always I get a parable to my mind when a similar problem is encountered
"There is expiation for a sin committed unknowingly or once with knowledge, however what remedy is there for a misdeed repeatedly performed with attention?"You be away from the situation surrender your problem to God and He will solve your issues in His own time , till then you ought to be patient tough to practise but a more sensible solution for a problem , your dealing would be a short term solution while God's is a permanent solution
