Being in chennai , I get to attend all functions be it a wedding , house warming, homam, punniyavajanam, aayush homam, seemandham , valai kappu, betrothal, poonal, puberty function and what not , the list go------------------------------------es on , every day especially the muhurtham months , I have to be on the best of my attire , the least I would like to do is to repeat my clothing , it is fun at the same time boring
you enjoy the following on a function
a. You get to meet all your people at frequent intervals
b. You get the privilege of being served a lovely platter
c.you are well dressed for the occasion
but I tell you , more than all these , you get to become more adaptable and acclamatized to
being in a crowd and carry a sense of well being , i have experienced this in my own self , you can't have the same luxury of being in your own home , when you visit and stay for a function but it really teaches you to be being the person of your host and sharing their work and errands I think gives me a lot of satisfaction , I think the main idea of attending a function is not visiting the function but taking an active part in it , provided it is not an intrusion of the hosts' privacy
I can challenge it will teach you a lot of adaptability, contentment , sense of belongingness and
responsibility .
One should try to ignore the unpleasantries that are faced in a function instead cover them with the positives that you come across , am sure you would love to attend functions and meet people
what we learn from papers for 2 hours we grasp by talking with people for a few minutes
am sure being in a crowd and mingling with people will teach us to be more interactive and selfless
It is better to take children along with us for the functions as they will come to know of our family and being together, am sure all of us are duty bound to cultivate the value systems in our children
it was nice being with my cousins all through
I am Divya,one of your student's cousin.
